fter breakfast today, set out on an excursion to the small resort hamlet of Dhanaulti - at a 33 kilometer distance from Mussoorie. Go up to the ancient mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi (9700 ft). The shrine is surrounded by exquisite deodar and pine trees, beautiful valleys, and snowcapped mountains. Later, visit the famous Kempty Falls. This falls was developed as a tourist destination by a British officer John Mekinan, around 1835. The name Kempty is probably derived from the word 'camp-tea', as the British, during the colonial rule, would organize their tea parties here. In the evening, spend time around Mall Road for some shopping. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mussoorie.
In the morning after breakfast, move out to explore the vast stretch of Happy Valley road. This place indeed promises a happy feeling with so many places of interest to explore – estates, temples or sprawling gardens. In the afternoon pay a visit to Gun Hill, Lake Mist, Kempty Falls, Mussoorie Lake, Bhadraj Temples, Naga Devatha Temple and the Mussoorie Christ Church. Later in the day pay a visit to the Tibetan Refugee Camp. Overnight stay at the hotel.
