Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival at Madurai - Rameshwaram (173 Km - 3 Hrs.) (05 Nov)

Upon your arrival at Madurai Airport or Madurai Railway Station in the early morning, you will be greeted by our local tour representative. Begin your Rameshwaram tour package by proceeding to Sri Meenakshi Temple or Meenakshi Amman. Admire the rock-cut architecture of Thiruparankundram and bow before Lord Murugan at the 6th-century temple. Drive to Kallazhagar Temple in Alagar Koyil village, Koodal Azhagar Temple, and Pazhamudircholai Temple to offer blessings to God Vishnu. After a full-day temple tour in Madurai, embark on a three-hour drive to Rameshwaram in the evening. Check into your hotel for overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 2: Rameshwaram (06 Nov)

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, visit Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple and Hanuman Bridge. Take pictures with Pamban Bridge, which is India’s first sea bridge. Drive to Dhanushkodi town to explore the beach and famous temples. Before culminating your sightseeing tour, visit Kashi Viswanatha Temple and 24 Kundalas and Ramanathaswamy Temple - one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples. Return to your hotel in the late evening for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari - Kovalam (300km 6 Hours) (07 Nov)

Early Morning check out from Rameshwaram and drive to Kanyakumari, upon arrival visit local sightseeing of the village like temples, Thiruvallur Statue, Vivekanand Rock Memorial, evening option to enjoy the sun set at sun set point then drive to Kovalam and overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 4: Kovalam (08 Nov)

After Breakfast or early morning you walk to kovalam beach and after refreshment drive to Poovar Island and enjoy the island with mangrove forest boat ride, in evening back to hotel and overnight stay in Hotel.
